Join Date: Apr 2005 | It's annoying having to moderate spam! I appreciate what the mods do around here, as well as the filters Tino built in. On my site I've installed a bayesian filter module, but it's still "learning" what spam is, so this spam thing is taking up my time, and it's embarrassing for that crap to show up on my site. Damn spammers, posting links to naked girls and crap :x I had to set it so no one could post links at all, which isn't what I want to do, but oh well, it'll have to do for now. |  | |

You wanna see spam of naked girls? The one software I've used that seemed to attract the most porn spam was Phorum. Looong pages, video after video after video of graphic porno youtube embeds. So if you wanna see that crap, just set yourself up with a website that runs Phorum. It's like a come hither sign to the porno spammers. | | | |

Join Date: Apr 2005 | well, what I've done is set up the ability to post links being dependent on points total, so people who just sign up and start posting stuff won't work as they plan. Right now, the post still goes through, but the links are stripped from the post, so it doesn't do them any good. | | | |
