Nas by far .. just look at ether it was game over from there. Nas is a real lyricist jay-z raps about the same s*** as everyone else but with better style ... don't get me wrong jay-z is good, but nas' lyrics won't be touched for a long time

jay z had some good beats on the black album me i go back to the hard knock life nad i think he's a popstar not a real rap star. Whereas NAS has some credibility with some cool breaks old jazz samples and lyrics that have soe sort of meaning at least.

Nah jz is only innit for the money.

KRS-1 though still going strong you gotta listen to the teacher he's the only 1 left from the old skool comin up with fresh material, though i still seee his old rival

Yeah sure i can just freestyle onto some paper with some pen and ink then edit out the bad bits and think what do i really want to be saying and learn to dj as well that knowledge of the breaks helps you know.

remember when hip-hop used to say something?
jay-z is absolutely abysmal, really poor flow, cheesy rhymes about the generic rap subjects, cars, money, yawn...
a has-been with nice suits, loadsa cash and nothing to say.

nas is alright from what i've heard, which isn't much.
