Have you ever had that happen to you?

You know when people say they've had "deja vu". I sometimes wonder if that really isn't them remembering a dream they had in the past that they had forgotten about.

I've had dreams come true before. I often wonder if "God" or some other strange force doesn't put those thoughts in your mind, while your mind is resting and receptive.

The past week I've had several "deja vu" experiences. I've found myself staring off into space -- a few times, thinking "I just dreampt that...".

One time I had a dream message where I dreamed someones name.
It was, "The name is Wallse. Ten cities. Where have you been?"
I wrote it down because it was such a strong word message, and so weird.

A year later, I met Steve Wall. Or Wall, S. E. We were out walking and I said "So where have you been?" (meaning in his travels) and then, as soon as I said it, that dream message came back to me. It hit me like a bullet. I didn't know his middle initial yet.

So I asked him his middle name, to see if it matched the dream. It did. And then I counted all the cities I'd lived in. The number was ten.

When I said, unthinking "So where have you been?" -- I remembered that dream instantly.

How could that be a coincidence?

Weird stuff.

I don't know if this counts. But photos of my uncle John just fell out of a box, my dad looked at them. The next day my Uncle John died.
Oh this has Alex Whittaker all over it!!

Lol welcome to the wonderfull world of different consciousness runoff.

Yah it's proven in psychology that each human being has several streams of consciousnes running through there brain at all times...some of which don't ever have to sleep.

Any way they often figure out all sorts of things that we wish we could figure out and somtimes some of it seeps into our consciousness. When it does we get things like clairvoience or "deja vu".... See what you must realise is there are parts of your brain that are active and in touch with prosesses that we see as "impossible" or "god like"

It's a proven fact that we have a second memory bank that holds who knows what and only the seperate streams of consciousness can access.

This is the premis of many self help books which seek to make you understand that different parts of your brain have access to things we concieve as impossible or improbable and they teach you how to communicate with your body to get it to bring things to you...using resources that we as a seperate consciousness dont know how to use.

Any way it's fairly inevitable that little experiances like this happen as a result.

"The Name is Wallse. Ten Cities. Where have you been?"

Later I met Steven E Wall. And when I said to him "Where have you been" those words in that dream came back to me. I asked him what his middle name was. It was "Earl".

That is "Wall, S.E." or "Wallse".

I counted how many cities I had lived in my life at the time, and it was ten.

So don't you "c'mon" me. The chances of that being a coincidence are pretty far out there.

This person became a very significant person in my life.

I am not looking for verification that this was a premoniptive dream. I know it had to have been. I know that.

What I wonder is if others have had any similar experiences.

I have to agree that the separate memory bank situation makes a lot of sense.

I have found that memories I have tried to suppress, tried to not dwell on, find their ways into my sleeping consciousness. The harder I try to suppress them, the more they come back to me in my sleep, when i am not in control to prohibit them.

The words I quoted out of my original post, however, dealt with a future event. It was a year and a half and 800 miles away -- before I actually met the person named "Wallse".

Tuesday the 16th, I had a dream that I got hit by a car while riding my bicycle. Believe it or not, on Thursday the 18th I got hit by a car but was not seriously injured. Talk about premonition.

I've had dreams come true to an extent. Maybe not actual events that took place at the exact same place in my dreams but very close.

1) Before ever getting pregnant for the first time I use to dream all the time about having a baby. But the babies I was having in my dreams were always so tiny they could fit into the palm of my hand.....Weird thing is when I DID get pregnant I delivered my first daughter at 28weeks and she was severly growth resticted only weighing 380 grams (13 ounces...less than a pound) and was 10 inches long. So she DID fit in the palm of my hand just about. So I think it was some way of God preparing me for what was to come.

2) while my 1st daughter was living I dreamed I was having another baby early and that the new baby passed away in the operating room. In my dream it was a baby boy.....I DID get pregnant again and delivered my daughter via-c-section and she was stillborn. So there is another dream that came true.

3) before delivering my 2nd daughter stillborn I dreamed that I delivered her early at 32 weeks. But in my dream she was healthy.....BUT I DID deliver her at 32 weeks just she was born sleeping. So there is 3 dreams that were true.

and for one last one...

4) about 3 years maybe 4 years ago I had a dream that my little brother was involved in a huge multi-car pile up crash and he was hurt really bad. He was bleeding all over and we had to carry him out by his arms and legs because he was unconcious.....My brother DID have a terrible car accident this past March. He was thrown 40ft out of his car and across the street. He was in a coma for nearly 2 months.

I don't think all of my dreams have a meaning. But I do think for the major things that happen in my life I have dreams to help me to deal with what's to come.

i have to believe it! sometimes the universe gives us true dreams... it happens. just as long, as you follow your own intuition, then it's okay.

please don't fall to any quacks, who say they have to answers. cause they don't! it's your own unique dream...

I had a lucid dream last night were (and it seemed so real),
I focused my attention on my leg muscles to buzzing extremes til i levitated slowly,
( I do alot of all round physical fitness- weight lifting stamina running nd sprinting) when i landed i had a slight head ache and fatigued legs.
While resting someone in a crowd wanted an explanation, but i said it's only a street illusion. He wasn't convinced. I didn't want this amazing ability to fall into the wrong hands, so I showed him the easy heel lift illusion & he was naive enough to believe, or I was convincing enough.
I tried my second attempt in privacy with ease. It felt this time like telekinesis because of the control was through my hand.
As I was drifting into wakeful consciousness, I had a buzzing message of a feeling that I could fly in wakeful consciousness too. It's nuts but its not the first flight dream that ended so inspirationally!

What are your theories on this?
