£16,000 one one, £8,000 on another and a few others amounting to another £6,000.

It was at that point I realised maybe I'd overspent a bit!

I hardly use credit cards, if I haven't got the money then I don't spend it...emergencies only for me.

$3300. Lucky I was able to pay off all of it. Lesson learned: credit card can be a bitch, don't carry one.

I got the bill today Its bearable though. I haven't overspent. Mind you I had textbooks, essential items and train tickets on it!

Its a good thing to have, so you can delay payment on expensive items. But its no good if you don't actually have the money to pay off the items with. I've never been in debt with mine, and always make sure i've got the money to afford it. It can get so easy sometimes to just lose control and go wild.

Snap!

I bought a house one time with a credit card, once I bought it, after about 45
days I refinanced it, (after I fixed it up)

The house credit card charge was $25,000, USD.

My wife went eBay crazy one time and 100 carebears showed up at my house.

Total after fees for overdraft? $1200.

No more credit cards in my home unless they are debit haha.

Care bears....wtf...

I don't recall being astonished by my credit card balance.

I have however been shocked when my credit limit was higher than my annual income But I pay off my credit card bills every month.

Too damn much.

They are all well and good whilst you have the cash, but the minute you loose your job - SHIT!!!

I have payment insurance on mine though - so I think I was ok - but my recent spate of unemployment has tought me a good bit about money management.

If there is a storm there.... chase it!
