I got an email this morning that's really really upset me and gave me a big fright and now my chest hurts really bad and it's kinda hard to breathe a little.

Sounds like it could be anxiety If it continues go and see the doctor's.

I've sort of dealt with the email and my chest doesn't feel as sore anymore. It's till there and breathing's still a bit difficult but it's ok. My main worry though is that it could be "broken heart syndrome" cos I've been absolutely freezing ever since even though I was sweating in here before I got it and these are 3 of the symptoms.

sounds like anxiety to me. Go lay down and relax, watch some tv or a movie.

It could be and sounds like an Anxiety Attack, but to get other things ruled out, my suggestion would be to get it checked out and then they can deal with the problem effectively.

Better to err on the side of caution has always been my motto.

Thanks guys. If it still hurts tomorrow I can mention it to the doctor when I'm in.
