i thaught it would be cause of like 16 Gb memory sticks the size of your finger and cartridges the size of your hand

also whats the xbox 360 disk capacity? do you know?

The XBox 360 uses standard 9GB dual-layer DVDs. So does the Wii.

The Nintendo DS uses 8 - 32MB cartridges and the PSP uses 1.8 GB UMD optical discs.

Interestingly, though the PS3 uses 50GB Blu-ray discs, its transfer rate is slower than the XBox 360, meaning that the same content will take longer to load on the PS3 than 360.

Yes. Blu-ray discs are currently much more expensive to manufacture than dual-layer DVD.

The Wii "sucks balls" when it comes to graphics because it's a much cheaper, lower-power system. Remember the 360 debuted at $400 and has had tons of heat and power related issues. And it's huge. The Wii is tiny, cool, quiet, and debuted at $250 with a revolutionary control system.

For reference, a typical 32G flash card is around $170.

So it would be roughly the cost of a Neo-Geo game. lol
