surely a waste of money to keep people concerned about immigration satiated?
its easy to get over, under or around a wall, it'd have to be manned on all fronts continously, what a drain on the taxpayer. 
maybe i'm missing something.
If you mean the border fence.....yes we are building one and it is starting to do what it was meant to do
last year the border patrol stopped 2.4 million pounds of drugs coming through the border from getting to our kids.
they have found more then 60 tunnels that were used to transport drugs and people and closed them down..
Mexican border town have seen a large influx of immigrants coming back home that they are asking the USA to help.....
because the drug cartels are fighting wars in Mexico for just a small piece business that it left...Americans are being asked not to go into border towns because of all the gun battles.
