So since i am super cheap, everyone (well the girls anyways) are getting these shadow boxes that i found at work for a dollar a frame. I am going to put a cd and a box with alcoholic drinks and other random things about relaxation in.

Anyways what songs do you listen to to relax, and what else do you do to help you relax? I need some more ideas to add to the book.

Bubble bath or massage oil is a good idea, i was think of bath salts too but i have to mail it from Texas to North Dakota so i'm wondering it if it will hold up in the mail with out leaking.

Bath salts might get a bit battered on the journey but they shouldn't be too bad..
As long as any bottles are plastic they should be alright too

I guess no matter what relaxing agent i decide to send i can always wrap it in a bag or something so if it does leak it will not destroy the rest of the present.

I think this is a wonderful idea. If you don't mind, I think I'll borrow it for next Christmas. Anyway, I agree with Nora Jones for relaxing music, or maybe some of that ocean sounds music you can get to go along with the bath stuff. You could also do some aromatheropy stuff if you wanted. I know there are places on the internet where you can get the recipes and make your own which would be much less expensive than buying it from a store.

A small book of poems, relaxation techniques, yoga,taichi,anything calming.
Make your own relaxation pouches!Put calming ingredients in a small bundle. Lavender scent is instant relaxation! You could just put pot-pouri in them for a super simple bundle.
Jasmine scented Essential Oil with Oil Burner

If your putting alcohol you could put fancy glasses and even hand paint pretty flowers or designs on it(with a permant gla** paint)

Most of these things you can find at the dollar store. If you wrap it up super nice it will look super pretty with tissue paper and celophane and ribbons.
