That's completely irrelevant.

People aren't rednecks because they're white. They're rednecks because they're uneducated, rural folk.

And, oh by the way, I have seen and heard of black people called rednecks. Southern Lousiana has a lot of black people, even out in the swamps and backwoods. And they do get called rednecks.

no, it doesnt. they make try to make it seem that way but it doesnt make it racist. thats actually what we were talking about. i know if someone called me a redneck, no matter of their skin color, i would just laugh, do my country accent and be like yes sir. its not really an insult, IMO

Thats not entirely true. Anyone with a bad attitude gets called a redneck where I live no matter what color they are.
