Obama is the one with the nutty pastor right? And the one who lied about his stance on gun control? And the most Liberal guy I've ever seen? And the one with a wife who "has ever been proud of her country" but still "loves" it?.....

.....

.....

......go McCain!

It looks like Obama's gonna win it!

Hillary's campaign had too many problems, and I don't trust someone who can't even run her own campaign properly to run the whole country, what a mess! But I think Hillary has some good policy ideas, but if she got too much power in the white house she could get to be a problem because I think she's a bit power-hungry. She could end up undermining other people's positions in her attempts to promote her own agenda. But I think some sort of advisory role would be good, she does have some good ideas.

go obama, he seems the strongest contender there

honestly when it comes down to it, i question the peoples capability of voting in a black man over and old white one.
thats not an attack on america, i don't think it'd happen in ireland or the uk yet either.

i hope i get proved wrong, and hope that everyone gets out their voting for what they think is right.
i'd love to see a foreign policy influenced by a man only one generation removed from kenya, how would he view our continual f**king over of africa?

From what I've seen this side of the pond .. Obama represents change and Hillary the status quo ... as far as the Democrats are concerned anyways.

Even if he does get the nomination he's still got to beat McCain in an election. If you think opinions are polarised now ... just wait till the Presidency is on the line.

For me .. I'd like to see Obama as President of the US.

Yeah, I really hope people don't just go with the familiar out of fear. That seems to be the tactic the Republicans are trying to take (no surprise, that's pretty much what they've always done). Unfortunately, it works on a lot of people. But I think that Obama's on the right track, calling it out as what it is. He just lays it out on the table, calling a spade a spade. People don't like fear, but they also don't like to be emotionally manipulated for political gain. Obama is pointing that out clearly. It's exactly what he needs to do.

McCain has so many problems, I mean, the hardest part will be picking one. He constantly changes positions for political expediency, even against his own moral grain which is disturbing, he's a jerk, calling his wife a c**t in front of reporters, he's got an uneven temper, even wife-bashing aside, and his voting record is statistically 95% in alignment with president Bush, more so than any other senator, not good with Bush's 71% disapproval rating. And on top of that, he's stiff and boring. When he gives a speech, you feel like you're being read to, his voice is flat and dead, there is no life, no fire, no vibrancy. I don't think McCain stands a chance.
