I specifically searched the net to find a posting of this type. I understand the reason for racism, black against white. I am a black male with albinism, and I have married a white woman. My skin is white, but naturally my features are black. This has given me a different perspective on the whole black-white issue. There should not be any reason for racism, but it still exists in the deep recessed of our society. In White and Black neighborhoods because both sides keep it alive. Older whites feel blacks are sub human beings, uncontrollable, creatures always up to no good. Blacks feel whites have a superior attitude and are always out to get the black man. I am not a racist. In truth, that very statement, makes me a racist. No white person has ever called me a nigger. I have never called a white person a cracker, or honkey. I see people in two sects, ignorant, and non-ignorant. I grew up in Paterson New Jersey. It is a depressed town where as a black man I could have stayed all my life complaining about my circumstances. I moved beyond those as many have, but most will live and die there. I am a black man, but have walked the fense of racism because of my skin color. as a young adult, I straighted and dyed my hair to in fact pa** as a white person. That was not the intent at the onset, but it was the result. At 44, I see things very differently. It is easy to use hatred of another, to make one feel better about ones circumstances. That is racism.

The reason why many members ethnic minorities are racist is because they are unable to integrate into wider society due to racism. They form their own community based on a sense of shared ancestry and victimisation. Racism begets more racism.

thats a good point well made mate. ive noticed alot of polish in asda who can talk good english make an effort to chat and i like that, it endears them to me. it shows they're trying to intergrate and mix in and talking english will benefit them in the long run

I think most mixed raced people hate white people, but what seems to make me angry is if you call a mixed raced person a swear word you get done for racism yet if a mixed raced person calls a white person a swear word no one bats an eye lid and to be honest i'm getting sick of it. I don't think it should work one way and not the other because thats just wrong.

I was not raised to hate anybody because of their color. At my current job it is majority black. I have noticed that they tend to stick together and do not really try to get along with those who are white. I am not saying they hate whites but this is what I have observed.
