Anyway I've been wanting to get a small dog because I live in the city and bigger dogs need more room to run.

Problem is I have really bad allergies.

I once had a cockapoo, don't laugh, because my daughter had severe Asthma as a child and that was the only dog that she wasn't allergic to.

Does anyone know what type of smaller dog that I could get that would not cause my allergies to flare up?? And I mean I have severe upper respiratory tract allergies. I really want a dog so bad, but have no clue as to what dog would not have an effect on my respiratory tract.

Anyone with ideas or suggestions??
