I recently purchased a vauxhall astra 06 plate. It has a cd/radio player but this does not go on/off automatically with the ignition. I know this can be programmed but was not suppied with an audio manual, so if anyone has got any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

its a standard vauxhall player has CD 30 written on it but as I have no manual no idea wat make it is. THe problem being I forget to switch it off when getting out of car which is eventually gonna cause a flat battery lol

If you purchased the vehicle from a Vauxhall dealer then they should instruct you how to program the audio equipment.

If you purhcased privately, go to your local Vauxhall dealership and ask the parts department to order an audio manual for the equipment.

I do have an Astra too, but cannot help with the programming, mine is as it was purchased, and running ok.

yeah online manuals cost more than halfords lol
