Try to see past it, the kids are just kids, their opinions change with the weather and what suits them.
As for your dad, well you know what I think of him
Know this: Every parent holds some high ideals about what their offspring will become, it just takes them time to realise that they can't live their dreams through you, they have to learn to accept you for who you are becoming. It will happen hun, try to be strong and be true to you.
Your opinion of You matters most.

..With me, I expect me to be "me", for "me" at all times.
And if people don't like it, well, they can take a flying leap lol..
Your happpiness has to be for 'you', not other people, or, as you have already experienced, you won't be happy at all..
..Maybe you should cop the same attitude

108/M/hi, Join Date: Jun 2007 | Wait a second, Quote: I am so sick of people expecting me to act a certain way.. it has been happening all my bloody life... my dad expects me to be some macho football playing star.. this is proven by the fact that he had the australian test captains for the wallabies sign a bloody jersey for me when i was like three.. and then there is the people from school who expect me to be thinking about girls racks all day long.. or the girls at school who think i should be thinking about guys all day.. i am sick to death of it.. i am so sorry for my little bitch session...but it drives me mad
What? Are you a guy or a girl. You're dad wants you to be macho, the girls at school want you to check out guys, and the guys want you to check out girls? Either gender, there has to be something wrong with your school. That is where the problem lays.
Oh, why is this in the "gender issues" forum? Is it because your school apparently has "gender issues"? I agree with treebee, you should just join a circus. But stay away from the freak-show section, that's where the "gender issues" are. Bearded lady? Not on my watch.
 I abstinated last night. It was incredible! | | 0 Kudos | Edited: April 06, 2008 @ 02:07 | |
