Cold Chisel are a great Aussie rock band but you mention them to any non Australians and they have never heard of them. Why?

I'm a big Dio fan, actually.

I just listened to Cold Chisel and it did nothing for me.

There are lots of truly excellent bands out there that never get the recognition they deserve. Savatage is one of my favorite bands - their music is truly excellent, and everyone I've introduced to them has become a fan. They just never caught on though.

Some of you may have heard of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, though. Well.. that's Savatage.

I don't think Cold Chisel ever released any songs overseas. Did they? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
