What would be the best way to advertise your art work online? Any ideas?

i would say the best way is to just get it out there. put it everywhere you can. make a website and advertise it on all the search engines you can. then add a link to that website on your TFS signature.

You should make an online portfolio. Then join social networking sits and include the link to your artwork.

I have added past artwork to sites like link [artconspiracy.com]

millions of people look at this site and your work really gets around and is copyrighted by the site. My friend and I bother recieved letters to have some of our works printed in a calender a couple years ago. I didn't accept because I figured it was a scam but she entered and was mailed a copy of the calender a little later.

Besides posting on that site try to make your own portfolio website. Use a free domain site like geocities.com or a popular site you could keep a constant flow of work going would be blogger.com

I was an advertising design major and we had to make websites at one point and we had 2 make websites to display our portfolios and such.

Besides the obvious, E-bay and other classified adds, you could try to create your own site or search out other people that are trying to do the same thing as you and see what they have done so far to advertise, you could even ask them if you can advertise on their sites. Hope that helpes and i did'nt just tell you stuff you already know.
