Can anyone help me with keeping the bark on my natural edge bowl. Keep having problems losing piecies when get thinner.

1) Make sure your lathe tool is super sharp
2) Go very lightly
3) Use coarse sandpaper to finish if it gets to thin
4) Soak the edge and let dry thoroughly in the same finish you are going to use
on the bowl to make it stick together better. (Varnish is good)
5) Curse and swear when these do not help!
