I was wondering if anybody could help me. I have been set an asssignment to consider the usefulness of Autobiographical writing to an Art Historian and I would really appreciate somebody elses views on this.

So far I have come up with:
In terms of emotions, feelings and descriptions of work processes they are really very useful

But on the other hand, you have to consider how reliable the source is, the are obviously biased as they are written by someone about themselves and you have to question the truth in everything that has been said.

Any other comments would really be appreciated!!
Many Thanks,
Rosie
