i love messing with old pcs well i found this dell on the side the road seems pretty decent however i need a system administration password before i can gain access to desktop, maybe a default password. i have already contacted dell's help info line and because i didnt know the registration info he wouldnt reset the password. I even went as far as telling him the previous owner donated it therefore i wouldnt have any knowledge of the needed info. TO SUM IT UP< CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!

Is that the windows admin password or the bios password?


if you can access bios - just do a fresh re instal of an operating system

Any version of Acronis, Hirens, Paragon, a disk management suite is what you need, in those programs they have password reset programs. Hope this helps

WinTernals ERD Commander 2005 can do it but those are hard to get ahold of...
