If you rearrange Vin Diesel you get 'i end lives', if you rearrange Mr.T, he'll kill you.

Dont you realize that evil lives under the motherf**king skin?

I'd say Ruby.

You won't like it unless you have a good understanding of OOP though..

PHP is what you should learn first as it is easy to pick up and PHP has enough OOP support to get you ready for your venture into Ruby.

PHP all the way !!! easy...reliable...free !!

if you want productivity then go with Perl (i personally hate it but it gets the job done better then PHP)

ASP sucks a** IMHO

java script is fun to learn because you get good looking results fast

it depends. the choice of language depends on the analysis of initial study and feasibility study. you cannot pick any language.
for my part, i prefer java on visual J#. But it does not mean that it is the best on all client/server topology.

asp sucks. so does iis (apache rules!!!)

Depending on how you need to scale I'd say Python via Turbogears. I'd give a nod to Ruby as possibly better from what I've heard but I've not worked in it so can't make a claim one way or the other, I suspect you can't go wrong with either Python or Ruby.

It rather depends on what you want to do with it. Certainly, in my view PHP is the easiest to learn and with version 5 it has some object orientated elements in it.
