Hi everybody Lately, I have been waking up with a pretty sore and dry throat. While I can handle the discomfort, it's actually very annoying. So, I'm just asking if any of you know of any remedies to cure sore throats. Oh, those lozenges only provide temporary relief for me...

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I've had problems with mine all summer. Stopped a couple o' weeks ago & now it's back . . .

Do you snore by chance? Or are you congested any? Snoring can really wear your throat out & often causes your throat to feel badly in the morning & then gradually wear away the rest of the day. & congestion, of course, can cause snoring even if you don't typically do so.

No, I don't snore. I'm usually a quiet sleeper. Just lately, my nose has been stuffy at night, so I guess I've been breathing through my mouth while I slept. The following morning I wake up with sore, itchy and very dry throat which lasts all day

yeppers, congestion can do that to you. I would recommend trying to clear up the congestion & that should hopefully take care of your throat.

hello
well gargle everyday with hot water
and drink warm water for a few days when you drink water
you can also try cough syrups like benadryl and lozenges like strepsils
you can get then at your local store or buy them online from pharmacies like drugdelivery.ca

I don't know exactly how it works but it seems to work if you rub your neck and chest with Vicks and pin or wrap a towel around your neck while you sleep.
