Ok, in about November of 2006, i lost touch with my friend in November and my mom's friend said he was arrested for murder. I need to know if this is true...his name was Derrick, he lived in Edmonton, Alberta (canada) and I thinbk he killed someone in Nov. Someone in Canda find out for me Please!

Google the name of the local newspapers in Edmonton, then pull up that newspaper's website and run a search for the dates that you think he perpetrated this crime. For example, I can read the Miami Herald or the NYTimes and search their archives for stories by date. Something like that would have made the news in that province. Or check the local district's website for his name in their court records.
