Doesn't terestrial radio and congress have anything better to do other than try and block the merger between Sirius Sat Radio and XM sat radio? They say "it will start a monopoly".... How can there be a monopoly when satellite radio has no competitors, ecspecially the dried up, non profitable FM and AM radio these days....

Let's try fixing the War in Iraq... or Student Loans.... or Low income housing... or... whatever else...

Radio stations are businesses. They would be deficient in their duties to their owners and shareholders if they didn't do everything possible to maximize their revenue stream.

But why claim it will create a monopoly? That is falsification to the max.... Combined, the two satellite radio companies only have 20million subscribers, I sense fear.....

I don't think there is such a thing as a monopoly. This would be more of a control issue.
