Maybe you could take some time off the baby I'd say at least each week? Let the dad take care and take a short holiday like shopping, buying books, just taking simple walks or just sleeping in bed. Do what you like best.

Or else, just go to a friends place or even bring your baby along with you!

Hi,

If it lasts more than a few weeks I would suggest you maybe think about getting some counselling from a licensed therapist. Or if you feel uncomfortable doing that, at least go talk with your doctor. There are treatments for that sort of thing, so there's no reason to go on suffering.

Yes. I agree with tino. Definetly seek counseling if it is getting persistent, especially to the point where you feel anger of sorts toward the baby. That is not healthy. However some cases of extreme have ocurred where a mother in such a state can injure the child. Be aware of how you are feeling and stay close to the advice and comfort of your husband so that he can ease some of the pressure off you for now.

yeah, would have to agree with the last two posts. If things persist for a while, you should seek some kind of therpay/counselling. I suffer from depression and know what it's like to feel like you can't get out of a dark place. But there is help out there and it's best to try and get on top of it early or things can get harder and harder to the point where you just can't be f***ed anymore, and you don't want to become stagnated.
And see your GP, he would be able to assist with a referal to see someone.
Good luck with everything, chin up.
