| galasTAray Memento mori ![]() Beirut, Lebanon | #1 ![]() "The international network of counter-jihadist groups that inspired Anders Behring Breivik is growing in reach and influence, according to a report released on the eve of the Norwegian's trial. Far-right organisations are becoming more cohesive as they forge alliances throughout Europe and the US, says the study, with 190 groups now identified as promoting an Islamophobic agenda. This week Breivik will appear on trial in Oslo after confessing to the murder of 77 people in Norway last July, killings that he justified as part of a "war" between the west and Islamists. The report, by anti-racism group Hope Not Hate, states that since the 33-year-old's killing spree, the counter-jihad movement a network of foundations, bloggers, political activists and street gangs has continued to proliferate." link [www.guardian.co.uk] ====================================================================== I think it's interesting to note how (mentioned further in the article) Muslims in Europe and the US are being treated as scapegoats for all kinds of problems. Since there's so much economic and political chaos now, there has to be some way people can feel like a community, there has to be some foundation, source, and that foundation has turned into nationalism in the form of hating Muslims. It's very interesting how humans work. | ||||||

| Chrill Gesundheit ![]() Γrebro, Sweden | #2 What Breivik did in Norway last year is among the most horrible acts of terrorism this world has witnessed since World War 2, simply because it was a mass shooting specifically aimed at the innocent youth. How his behaviour can inspire other people amazes me. This world really is coming to an end in 2012... | |||||||

It's very interesting how humans work. September 11, 2001, will never be forgotten. Without clicking on your links, I'm happy to hear the anti-muslim movement is growing rapidly. Finally, people are waking up to the hatred of the filthy koran and all the lives that have been taken because of it. 190 groups? I'd like to see that number grow! Thanks for the good news!

Well you aren't them and for some reason they don't want to leave. And what if they were born and raised in Europe with French or British or Swedish ancestry? You want to force them out to the war zone?

I never said the groups were wrong. You can say/think/believe whatever you want to. Fortunately for the rest of the world, Islam will probably eventually even out and modernize (fingers crossed) and people like you will become a minority. Oh, and by the way, 9/11/2001 will eventually be forgotten, its only mention being in history books in libraries. There have been many other incidents with much higher casualties and at the rate the US is influencing the world with its foreign policy, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar or worse happened in the future.

I'm sure something worse will happen. Maybe here, maybe somewhere else. I just hope we have a real president when it does.
