I voted bad because it doesn't help with closure.

I would never talk to exs I was very serious with in the past(I only have a couple anyways). I do however, sometimes converse with "exs" that weren't all that serious. Mostly people I dated for a short period while in middle or high school.

For me it is about respect and respecting my man. I don't feel it is proper to continue something with an ex. I don't ever want to put my man in a situation where he would become jealous or worry about what we have. I would rather avoid any type of future drama possible and squash it all before it even has a start.

I think that to check on the person from time to time to see how they are doing is okay, but to talk regularly is treading a fine line, not to mention showing a little disrespect towards the person you are with, in my opinion.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean when you say talk to exs.

I don't think there is a definitive right or wrong, it depends on the people.

I think it's fine,as long as your just friends,and your ex understands that your in a realionship.
