I've been asked on different occasions if I believe in a God? and my reply has always been,I believe there MAY be something but a God? I don't know.

This is by know means a Religious question on my behalf, but I think I can honestly now say I'd support the Pagan outlook. link [www.religioustolerance.org]

After watching this and reading some about it,I feel that this is more ME than anything.

Awesome link, I am a pagan of sorts. more spiritual than godly. I love the earth and life and I find it hard to believe there is some man in the sky watching over me.

its kinda hard to grasp. I have some really good friends who are Godly and I love them..

Pagan is an interesting way to go

Now I've been reading a bit about what Paganism is all about,I feel a lot more comfortable with it than like you say Some man/thing in the sky.

It's certainly an interesting belief system. It reminds me a bit of the old kind of mythology in Greece and Rome. If I were forced to pick a 'spiritual' system then I'd probably go with some branch of paganism or something.

Interesting link, Dem. Thanks for sharing.

Paganism as a belief system certainly makes more sense than Christianity or any of the other mainstream religions.

It's like I said to Eowyn,I have more faith with the Pagan ideal than what the Churches with their bible.

I've always believed in reincarnation,I just cannot imagine that we die and that's it,our spirit has to go somewhere once this vehicle we call our Body is tired and worn out.

I had a very interesting conversation with my Doctor who I consider to be a good friend,he's Buddhist, and his/their beliefs with Buddhism are very similar to mine.

Thank you for the enlightenment. I'm not going to give up my Christian beliefs, however I don't force them down someone's throat. I've always felt that faith is what I feel and not a specific religion. It's what keeps me going, and a person has to come to God if they wish, because it's in their heart. I went to a Bible banging University which did one thing on Saturday night and then called people sinners on Sunday. It rubbed me the wrong way, and personally it's my belief that it's those religions that lose people. My God is just and fair. What another person believes is their own business. You have to admit some of the religions with snakes and chickens are a bit much.
All religions (not Satanism) have a form of the Golden Rule. Isn't that what counts? If someone chooses not to believe, it's their business.
I choose to believe.

Something I remember saying to once Jazz,We have a family friend who happens to be a Catholic Priest and he even said ,It all comes down to Faith.
I don't have anything against anybody who does want to believe in God and Jesus,I personally just can't find it in me to believe it?, there's far to many questions over the years I've asked, that quite frankly the answers I get just lead to more and more questions and for me? it all becomes to much to be real in my mind BUT as this priest said?"It all comes down to Faith".

The Holier than Thou's you usually find are the biggest hypocrites walking the earth as you said do things on Saturday night and call them sinners on Sunday, hypocrites .

I have been reading some things about Pagans and Paganism, and to be honest with you right now I feel quite comfortable about things in my life and the way I lead it or is that the way it leads me???

God is forever eh?? then how come your god only started to exist when this Jesus was around and after he crucified ???

Hoppy I don't want this to turn into a religious debate, your welcome to believe what you want but I believe the Earth is our creator, not some mythical God that is fabricated by a Church or specific religion, just like it is every living thing on the surface above Ground and underwater.

My spirituality does include parts of Paganism, Wiccan, Native American, Buddhism and Christianity. My Creator is an "equal-opportunity" Higher Power!!! LOL

We all have the right to believe what we want, whether it be one of the religions you mentioned above,or your version.

My Doctor is Buddhist and we've had some great discussions and talking to him what we both believe in is so very similar, for instance I believe in reincarnation, the Buddhist's call it Rebirthing, but it's still one and the same.
I just can't think of any reason why when we die that's the end of it for us,Our spirit and all our life experiences MUST go somewhere, everything inside me refuses to accept we just get snuffed out like a candle.
