| DiamondGeezer Banned ![]() Fawlty Towers, United Kingdom | #76 @shadowen Said ![]() How seriously pathetic are you. The only thing Lillee and Thompo did was bowl very fast and scary you poor little sais witless. They bowled boucers. So what. Boucers had been bowled even before the 1930's and bodyline. Bowling bouncers is fine. Stacking the leg side and just bowling short at the batsman...that's something different altogether. Trevor did bowl underarm. Not really his fault. The blame lies with his brother whose actions were rightly condemned throughout Australia. Unlike you though i accept that Trevor bolwing underarm (whilst withint he laws of the game) was not within the spirit and was an appalling act. You however always defend the indefensible as you cant accept that your lillywhites could ever do anything wrong. And finally, Warne and Waugh didn't take any bribes. The cambridge online dictionary defines are bribe as... "to try to make someone do something for you by giving them money, presents or something else that they want" All Warne and Waugh did was provide information about the weather and the state of the pitch. Information that was hardly secret and could have been obtained from a whole host of different people. Still, i'm not suprised that you dont even know what a bribe is. What else you got? ps - the last Ashes series is history and so if you are wanting to talk about history maybe we could discuss our 5-0 series win over you the previous time you visited. Yep, 5-0. What a lovely summer that was. Or we could go back to the days of Armstrong and discuss another 5-0 whipping we handed out to your mob. Or there is the small matter of losing 14 of 15 tests tot he windies including 2 successive 5-0 scorelines. Funny how cocky you are now...wonder where that cocky arrogance was btw 1989-2005... You've got him rattled Jennifer. He can't win an argument with a girl and it really grates. (stir stir stir------ heh heh heh) I like Australia. Its a great place to dump all the rejects we don't want. As for the empire, well, we may have been a load of c***s, but we ruled you. And you had your uses too. The amount of Turkish ammunition that your lot diverted away from the British at Gallipoli. Cheers lads. Aussies----- Great blokes. | ||||||

shadowen![]() Bunyip Bend, Australia | #77 Oh, and you are so entertaining. You started all of this by getting your bridget jones' in a knot just because i made a (revelant) passing reference to vaughan's tactics in the 1st test of 2005. That was enough for you. Finally balanced by having a big chip on either shoulder (one about women in sport and the other to do with england) you were off and running. Now since then you have attacked Australia and Australians relentlessly....yet when you do so that's fine. When i point out a few facts about merry old england i am "one embittered Okker" who is racist (ouch)

| DiamondGeezer Banned ![]() Fawlty Towers, United Kingdom | #78 @shadowen Said ![]() You poms have been coming to Australia as you cant get work in your own country. So you come here, we give you jobs and opportunities and all you do in return is whinge...whinge but never leave...like larwood and tony greig. Funny that. Tony Grieg's a South African. A bit like Kepler Wessels. | ||||||

Because i know the definition of bribery and she doesnt? As for the war reference. That is a pathetic, weak comment you english c*nt. We volunteered to come to the aid of your f*cking country in two world wars. In the critical periods of the German offensive in 1918 we held over a third of the entire british line. Talk about sport all you want but dont you dare talk about the war and all of our fine lads we lost defending you pricks and at the hands of your f*cking inept leaders.

| jmo Beruset af Julebryg ![]() The United Kingdom of Great Br | #81 @shadowen Said ![]() anyway....maybe there can be one huge year when Alba and Cymru are freed from english rule, when Eire is united and when we sever all ties with blighty. Sounds like a nightmare. Who the hell calls Scotland 'Alba' anyway? | ||||||

shadowen![]() Bunyip Bend, Australia | #82 "Who the hell calls Scotland 'Alba' anyway?" The Scots do. It's the name of their bloody country. Seriously, wtf...

| jmo Beruset af Julebryg ![]() The United Kingdom of Great Br | #87 The Gaelic name, not the English name and English is the language of Scotland (not Alba). | ||||||

shadowen![]() Bunyip Bend, Australia | #88 Seriously, that is like saying the Irish don't call Ireland 'Eire'. That 'Ireland is called Ireland'...or that in Cymru they only ever refer to their country by the english name of Wales. Unbeleiveable.
|
| DiamondGeezer Banned ![]() Fawlty Towers, United Kingdom | #89 Pretentious aussie w**kers who also call wales cymru. He's just trying to crack on he thinks he knows what he's talking about. He'll be calling Ireland Eire next. He wouldnt last five minutes at an England vs Scotland match. (prod, prod, prod. Wind him up and watch him go) | ||||||

shadowen![]() Bunyip Bend, Australia | #90 It was a bloody Gaelic country before a few landowners sold the country to england for some silver. The Scottish people NEVER chose union with the sais and Gaelic IS an official language of Alba. Since 2005, the SFA have supported the use of Scots Gaelic by adding Alba on the back of the official team strip. In 2007 the then Scottish Executive re-branded itself as the "The Scottish Government" and started to use a bilingual logo with the Gaelic name Riaghaltas na h-Alba. However, the Gaelic version from the outset had always been Riaghaltas na h-Alba. The Scottish Parliament, likewise, uses the Gaelic name Pārlamaid na h-Alba. A satellite television channel aimed at the Scottish Gaelic community, BBC Alba, was launched in September 2008 and is a joint venture between MG Alba and the BBC. A new welcome sign on the historic A7 route into Scotland was erected in 2009, with the text Fāilte gu Alba.
