| Kristy69 Carly's Mommy ![]() Underneath the Cyanide Sun.... | #1 Okay, since I was about 9 weeks pregnant, I started having bad pain very low on the right side of my back and it's been getting progressively worse. Like, almost in my butt cheek. It seized up every once in a while (especially if I was laying flat or at an awkward angle where my lower back was bent. It also caused my thigh and toes on my right leg to get tingly sometimes. It's only on my right. It starts up when I'm about halfway through my shift and when I'm laying down at night. My OB told me the baby is probably implanted more on the right and is probably laying on it. She told me yoga would help, but with my schedule I can't just go to a yoga class (and with my pay check, pay for it). Does anyone have any tips or stretches they use to deal with this kind of pain? | ||||||

| chisa96 Supreme Goddess ![]() Out in Nature, Wisconsin | #2 I go hiking, somewhere with a lot of uphill walking. You have my sympathy though; sciatica pain is a b****. I've had it so bad that it feels like someone plunged a knife into my butt cheek and twisted all the muscles in that leg tight around it. | |||||||

This is true. But what does kind of help at night is a body pillow. I lay on the opposite side of the pain and hug a pillow between my legs. I guess because it keeps everything aligned it helps ease the pain at night. :dunnO | ||||||

| ReAdSaLoT Show a bit of class ![]() , | #7 My son was a huge baby and I'm little. He sat on my sciatic nerve for three months. One day he rolled over thank the Lord. I feel for you, it's a b****. Be careful with heat, but some massage might work. | ||||||
