To be honest I've never been that big into going to clubs, sort of always went because that's what people seemed to do. I always preferred the pub, a house party or going to a gig.

Anyway, now I'd say I go to a club about once every second month or so, and don't mind it as a one off and think I go infrequently enough that when I do go I actually enjoy it as it's something different.

I've started to slowly get to the stage where a lot of the time I've realised I'm no longer one of the young ones, and whilst not one of the old ones either I'm slowly approaching my mid-twenties and possibly nearing a time where I'll be too old. Still think I've got a few years left in me yet, but at what age is one too old to get away with being in a club?

When does it go from being part of the older group, to being one of those weird old people who seem to turn up at clubs and everyone clearly mistrusts?

Depends. I would think mid to late 20's would be about the age.

Why should it matter how old someone is if they go somewhere to enjoy themselves and don't act a complete prick, if people have a problem with that, it's their problem. I love meeting old people out drinkin and then feedin them silly amounts of liquid cocaines. They turn into hyper-happy two year olds.

My 76 year old Great Aunt was out clubbing before Christmas - so you are never too old!

I think it just depends on what club you go to. If you are going to student clubs then probably mid 20's (depending on how old you look), but there are clubs that are more for people in their 30s/40s.

To me, as long as you're going out with those in the same age range, there's nothing wrong with going out clubbing.

I'm 35 and still feel up for going to clubs now and then.

It's when you have someone, going out clubbing with others 10yrs their junior, that I think it's creepy.

That too. If I know a place has the majority of those in their 20's, I would feel odd going there.

Weird thing a few weeks ago, went to an actual proper student night in Glasgow and honestly think me and my mate were the oldest two people there. It was freaky.

I mean I don't look my age so I think I probably fitted in quite well, but I'd be surprised if there was anyone else there who'd reached their twenties.

Didn't recognise any of the music either, and club entertainment was weird.

The DJ offered anyone who reckoned they could down three pints of milk in a minute a fiver. It was done complete with sick buckets and all. Horrible, unfortunately morbid curiosity got the better of me and I actually watched this weird spectacle.

The only reason older people frequent locations with other older people is because they share interests and don't want f***ing annoying college students in the way. There's no magical barrier between older and younger clubbers, only preference. People tend to stick to those which they have similar interests with.

well, if it's a college club - maybe 25 should be the cutoff.
But for all other clubs, age shouldn't matter, as long as one has fun without being too obnoxious.
