What Jon is saying is backed up by numerous studies. There's zero reason to spend ridiculous amounts of time on slow drawn out exercise when short bursts of full intensity workouts work just as well if not better.

For anyone that cares... 338lbs on 1/14/12... 316lbs today... missed the gym the past 2 days do to working on my car... But will be back in the morning.

^that would be my bro... He is helping a lot with the gym and dieting. He gets pretty intense about it... but its all out of love so I don't get angry at him.

Alli knocked weight off of me like crazy(while reducing fat and calories, and exercising). It's like $40ish, but it's well worth it.

And I didn't give any input earlier because honestly this is the first I've noticed this thread, but something you mentioned earlier caught my attention.

You said you were only sleeping about 3 hours a night. This is really bad, not just for someone trying to lose weight or get into shape, but for anyone who wants to be healthy.

Do NOT downplay the importance of proper rest and sleep in any regular exercise regimen. I know it's tough and it's easy to say "get more sleep" if you're really having difficulty sleeping long enough, but that's something you ought to look into correcting if it hasn't improved by now on its own.

Its gotten better... but some days are worse than others. Since I've quit smoking pot, for good this time... I just plain can not stay asleep longer than 4hrs... but I can usually sleep, then I'll wake up for a few hours and able to go back to sleep for another 4hrs.
