If someone told you to stop dreaming, you must be dreaming of something too extreme which is impossible to achieve or like you said having consecutive nightmares.
Dream likes most other things, need to be balanced. It has no defination, no digital figure or form. Every indivisual, passing through times have dream, sometime more, sometime less or nothing. Most dreams are influence by one action. If you are in a bad location or surrounding like graveyard, mortury or hospital. Most likely, dream of that nature will occasionally occur. If you are in an intellectual environment, one might dream of inspiration idea. Create a life-stye of good happening and in good environment.

This is a different type of dream than what the rest of your paragraph is discussing. I'm not sure if this was the only relevant sentence and masked with all of the rest or not but...

...yes, recently I have stopped dreaming and hoping in anticipation of anything else in my future.

And yes my life has come to an uncomfortable stand still, resulting in stress, anxiety and sometimes nightmares.

Beginning to dream and proceed forward once again is impossible due to boundaries and limits I have set for myself in honour of integrity, morale and principle.

Often times "The Law of Attraction's" Hicks mentions 'escrow' or those boundaries that we preset for ourselves. Mine is currently filled to the brim with a concrete wall.

To move forward once again and seek fulfilment in order to establish a life which I can regard on my passing as extremely substantial would be brutally self-serving beyond my typical nature to be self-serving. Given my lifes' woes it would also be ironically absurd and given my life's complaints I'd become the biggest hypocrite that I ever knew.
