| jmo Beruset af Julebryg ![]() The United Kingdom of Great Br | #1 Has anyone here ever been to Copenhagen before? I'm here at the moment and absolutely love the place. I haven't enjoyed or fell in love with a city so much since I first visited Edinburgh. I love the culture, the society, the people and the whole dynamic of the place. The only thing I don't like is the cost of everything (only marginally better than Norway). I have been here before, growing up in Norway it wasn't really that far from Copenhagen, but I couldn't really remember it that well, as it was still more of a distance than Sweden was. Anyway, I'm coming back to Copenhagen in the summer. Anyone else ever been here, what did you think of it? | ||||||

| jmo Beruset af Julebryg ![]() The United Kingdom of Great Br | #3 Yeah, went to see the Little Mermaid yesterday and wasn't that impressed at all. Was more impressed with the naval Submarine that was sitting behind it. I realised it was the first time in my life I'd ever seen a submarine, whereas it wasn't the first time in my life I'd seen the statue of the mermaid. Away from the touristy things (which I have to say have been top notch) the feel and atmosphere of more 'normal' things here has been great. Personally I think I may just feel more at home in Scandinavia than I do in Britain generally though. | ||||||

Oisin![]() Glasgow, United Kingdom | #4 yeah, they seem to have a pretty laid back attitude towards things which i like. but then you get the same kind of thing in spain & the netherlands and probably plenty of other place in europe that i have never been to.

| jmo Beruset af Julebryg ![]() The United Kingdom of Great Br | #5 I think the Danes have a similar attitude towards things that Norwegians have. | ||||||

Only went up there once but it was a great place to visit.

| floydgirrl Diabolical ![]() , Holy See (Vatican City) | #9 I really liked it the few times I had been there! It's an amazing city! It was probably 20 years ago that I was there the first time, and I had the best ravioli in my life in some restaurant there | ||||||
