Xmas cards

I have 59 cards so far and only 9 of them portray mary and joseph / jesus.

should I read anything into this

It just shows the disassociation between Christmas and Christ which has spread well throughout the country throughout the years.

For a lot of people, Christmas is Santa Claus and presents and being with family. Christ is a something underneath it all.

Xmas cards have nothing to do with the religious significnce of the day.

i havent been sent any with mary and jesus on. and i havent sent any with them on either. for us here xmas is about santa and reindeer and elves and presents and family getting together

it's as hot as anything here, so i'm getting sick of the taunting pictures of santa and reindeer in arctic conditions plastered all over the christmas cards i receive! just reminds me of the sweet sweet coolness i'm not allowed to have! razzin' frazzin'...
