Are there any real forces acting on sea life that could cause this?
There are several, polution is a likely candidate! But there is one that is most likeley of all in my estimation!
At the end of the Great War, WWI all of the newly banned chemical weapons were gathered up in steel drums loaded aboard a few ships which were then scuttled in the north Atlantic. The contents of these barrels include the poison gases which had been used by both sides in that war!

so why don't you write a book predicting something we can also choose to believe or be skeptical of?
in time most things end , do they not? a straight line can be made a circle , etc. all irrelevant , eventually , imo.

It is in some of the deepest depths of the Atlantic,I would like to see Dr.Robert Bullard investigate those ships instead of looking at RMS Titanic!

Absolutely everything bad that ever happens in this world is absolutely the fault of man. Guaranteed.

Are you referring to a specific scripture?

I don't really know if it was Revelation or Nostradamas, who made that claim, and to my mind it's immaterial!

Oh, I was just thinking if it was scriptural it would give an indication of how all the life in the sea will die. If it was Nostradamus umm....they're a little harder to figure I think.

Anyway, I think if all the life in the sea was going to die, it would be from something that isn't currently there. Like a meteor hitting in the ocean and boiling all the sea life. (There is something like that mentioned in Revelation - something about a mountain on fire falling from the heavens into the sea)

This is May 2 slightly a few weeks after your Question, Look at what has happened in the gulf of Mexico already, a huge oil spill, already the US fishery department has prohibited fishing, it is expected to even effect the Florida Keys to Cuba and then the Caribbean and Atlantic , I think that answers your question.

Many other forces are working to despoil our oceans, poisonous algaes are killing coral. Of course oil and chemical pollution play a significant part. A few years ago it was discovered that algae that was sold to individuals for their aquaria,it had also been cultivated in the aquarium in Monaco, the effluent from there poured directly into the Mediterranean Sea taking over the sea floor and killing the coral, which are essential to produce food for sea fishes.
As has happened so many times in the past human actions are taken without considering the long term effects of those actions! Humanity is the basic source of the problem.

It is now 38 days since the explosion took place. And no one has an answer for anything regarding this event! It is unknown how much oil is contained in the pool beneath this well. All that is really known is that there is culpability. That the drillers and BP must share! If the oil is not stopped what will be the effect on sea life? Remember all of the oceans of the world are connected, poisoning one area will have an effect everywhere, if it is of sufficient magnitude!

Shortly after the disaster began, Oceanographers from Woods Hole
Oceanographic Institute arrived at the site to render their assistance, but their help was rejected and they were turned away by BP!

Today is day 53 of the Gulf of Mexico cataclysm, every cure that has been tried has failed! And as 50,000 barrels of oil gush into the Gulf on a daily basis, the prognostications of the
earliest date it can be stopped have been moved up to August.
Given their track record however, that cure, the relief wells will fail as well!
