Are PM's (Personal Messages) Private?

Yes - absolutely, Moderators and Admin cannot access your personal messages. The only time this is possible is when the message has been reported as abusive by the recipient. In this instance only the message reported is readable by Admin or a Moderator and not your other messages.

No other site member can read your personal messages even if they do have your e-mail address.

el_tino is able to access messages but only does so when illegal activity is suspected.

Now and again a troll will claim to be able to read your messages. Now and again someone will spark a rumour that the moderators are reading your messages. This is not true. Anyone claiming to be able to read your private messages should be reported to a Moderator, Admin or el_tino
