How's your hockey team doing?



Islanders defeated Buffalo 6-4 tonight in the season opener It was a messy first period but we were able to keep up with the Sabres pace. I was surprised as to how many goals were scored by both teams. DiPietro played extremely well, even though he let in four goals, and had a spectacular save about three minutes into the game. Mike Comrie was awesome too, I think he had a four point night!

the Sharks beat Vancouver tonight 3-1. season record is 1-0-1. god i f***ing hate the shootout!!!

Chants of "Go Home Buffalo" could be heard throughout the arena tonight

Coliseum was rocking loud Some BS calls in the first though We could still do with taking less penalties since some of them were warranted.

Isles defeated the Sabres 3-2 Comrie had two goals tonight, bringing his total up to four in two games.

oh and the Rangers lost so that makes things much better too

Congrats to the Islanders. Pretty solid statement to start the year.

The Nashville Predators are 2-0-0 and have 4 points after beating Dallas and Colorado 4-1 and 5-0. It's still early but they seem to be better than last year.

Lost this afternoon They played well and outshot Washington by a significant amount, but just couldn't catch any breaks. Lots of bad luck, and a miscall late in the third

I don't know where the powerplay went either. That was kind of disappointing.

Wednesday they face off against the Rangers so that should be an awesome game.

We beat the Rangers 2-1 tonight

The defense looked a little weak in the first period but it got gradually better as the night went on. Still needs a bit of a kick I think. Goaltending was solid, offense was ok. Berard just signed yesterday I think so he should be a big help with quarterbacking the powerplay. He scored a PPG tonight, so good start already

Isles play Toronto tomorrow so best look out Leaf fans mwhahahaha

It was a frustrating game because they played pretty well, they just couldn't put it in the net
