2 Corinthians 12:10 - I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong - Like a lot of the Bible this verse says something totally opposite of what "the world" teaches. The author the Apostle Paul doesn't seem to be making any sense here. When the Lord chose Paul as an apostle, a servant of the Lord named Ananias questioned God's choosing of him, because prior to becoming a Christian Paul was known for persecuting them harshly -Acts 9:15-But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. To me the story of Paul is an illustration of us all. Like him we are against God (despite our feelings) until we heed his call, and if we do we consider serving him a privilege despite hardships. Paul came to know that only Christ could save him from his sins, and that is something we all need to know.
