Kristy. My perception on the world and the people in it.
Enter the wonders (and nightmares) of my mind.
Kick??!

Idk, maybe!
Is it's too early (I'm 14 weeks)? Or isn't it?

About an inch above my (right) pelvic bone I felt a little throbbing sensation. So I used my index/middle fingers to press down a bit and I felt something... but I think it may have been my pulse?
Idk. I haven't felt it again.

I'm just searching for any sign of movement at this point.

First movements feel like you need to fart but nothing happens. I was about 15 weeks before I realised what it is. Second time around you spot it a bit sooner. Its like a fluttering rather than a kick.

When my friend was around the same time frame as you are, she thought she felt kicking. To make a long story short, it was not a kick, it was gas. I am so not pulling your finger right now.

Ah. I see.
So that was probably just a throb then.

Probably your bowel. But it will be real soon and you will feel something fluttering around. My daughter moved a lot when I went on the train in the morning to work.

The baby was super active on the sonogram! I was surprised I couldn't feel all that flipping and kicking. But then again, it's only a few inches long.

The first time is cool, and kind of creepy. It's strange sensation feeling a living thing squirming around inside of you.

For me, the first movements would feel the same as when you get 'butterflies in your stomach' when you are nervous.

I'm really afraid I'm going to pee my pants at some point.

My friend was pregnant in school (around 7/8 months) and her son was really moving one day. She was sitting taking a test and all of a sudden he kicked her really, really hard and she completely pissed herself.

Granted, he did end up being a nearly 10lb baby

That is my worst fear ever.

When you get to be 7months, start wearing Poise Pads.
