| No, you're not ugly, and Jon is right, "Ugly" is just a generic term people use when they're being rude. It's like when you're in first grade and some kid calls you fat, ugly, stupid, etc. None of it really means anything at all in a literal sense.
A friend of mine once told me, "Always consider the source" when choosing who to listen to. Example number one you gave was some people on the internet. People say all kinds of dumb s*** on the internet purely to be a troll. So that's meaningless. Example number two you gave was a loud obnoxious b****, so that doesn't mean anything either. So overall, I'd say you're safe to completely ignore both of those types of people. |
